Our tours focus on boutique, family-owned, and independently operated wineries. We provide door-to-door service from most locations in Santa Barbara, including hotels, residences, airport, and train stations. We offer a fun and educational tour of Santa barbara’s vast and amazing wine country. Our guides are passionate and knowledgeable about wine and wine production. Rooted Vine Wine Tours was established in 2013, by Iaon Pohlit. Iaon spent many years working as a wine buyer and restaurateur. He is the owner and operator of Rooted Vine Wine Tours. Iaon previously worked as an editorial tasting assistant to wine enthusiast magazine contributing editor, Matt Kettmann from 2014 through 2020. Iaon Pohlit is currently the Vigneron and Owner of Rooted Vine Cellars.
